Directorate of Maize Research (DMR) is a constituent of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) – an autonomous organisation under the Department of Agricultural Research and Education (DARE), Ministry of Agriculture, Government of India. In India, organized research on maize improvement started in 1957 under the auspices of the All India Coordinated Maize Improvement Project (AICMIP), which this was the first in a series of coordinated projects under the ICAR system.
Walk in Interview/Written Test of the eligible candidates for the following contract service will be conducted at DMR, New Delhi under Plan Contigency on 25th Oct, 2013 at 10.30 AM
- Place of Work : Directorate of Maize Research, New Delhi
- Position : Technical Assistant (PME Cell)
- Emoluments : Rs 17,550/-
- Essential Qualification : B.Sc Life Science with atleast 60% mraks and two years of working experience in ICAR institutes/SAU pr M.Sc with 60% marks in B.Sc in any branch of Life Science
- Desirable : Sound knowledge of computer application
