Walk in Interview for a Research Assistant post at CICR, Coimbatore

The eligible candidates are invited to appear for Walk-in-Interview on 07.06.2012 at 10.00 A.M. for the purely temporary contractual service of Research Associate (RA) – 1 no. in DUS project “Implementation of PVP Legislation ” as detailed below :

Consolidated Pay : Rs.23000/- + HRA 20%
Essential Qualification : M.Sc. and above in Botany or Plant Science
Desirable :
1. Three years experience in Morphological characterization of genotypes
2. Working experience in field experimentation of cotton
3. Basic and working knowledge in computer application and data handling
VENUE : Central Institute for Cotton Research (ICAR), Regional Station, Maruthamalai Road, Coimbatore – 641 003, Tamil Nadu
Instructions :
1 The temporary contractual appointment is a specific period up to 31.3.2013. The services of the candidates will automatically stand terminated with the termination of the Project / Schemes or even before, on the discretion of the Competent Authority. The contractual service will not entitle the candidate for any claim to regular employment at CICR / ICAR under any circumstances
2 The candidates should bring with them original certificates for verification and one set of the photocopies in support of Age, Qualifications, Experience, Caste and Passport size photograph to be enclosed with an application.
3 No TA/DA will be paid for attending the Walk-in-Interview.
4 The Director, CICR, Nagpur reserves the right to fill up or not to fill any vacancy notified in this advertisement. Upper Age Limit: 35 years for men & 40 yrs for Women respectively, as on the date of interview. Relaxable in the case of SC/ST/OBC & other exempted categories of candidates as per rules.
