IIAR invites applications for two junior research fellows (JRFs) and one project assistant (PA-II) to carry out research under the project entitled “Carbon sequestration potential of Albizzia lebbeck in intercropping and co-cultivation systems with economic crops and plant growth promoting microorganisms” supported by Department of Science and Technology (DST). Research will focus on understanding temporal and spatial variations in soil CO2 efflux as component of carbon sequestration in woody legume trees intercropped with annual crop plants.

Position- Two Junior research Fellows (JRFs)

Emoluments: Rs 16,000 p.m. for 1st two years and Rs 18,000 p.m. for the 3rd year

Eligibility:

• First class in M.Sc. (in Botany, Plant Science, Environmental Sciences, Forestry, Wild Life, Biodiversity, and Biotechnology).
• Preference will be given to CSIR, UGC-NET, DBT-JRF and/or experience in the area of ecology).

Position- One Project assistant (PA)
