M.Sc/M.Tech Bioinformatics | Apply for Project JRF position at University of Hyderabad

Applications are invited from qualified individuals for the following positions, sponsored by the DBT project entitled “Identification of miRNAs essential for B cell fate commitment of multipotent hematopoietic progenitors” (BT/PR1825/AGR/36/679/2011).

• Position : Project JRF
• Qualification : M.Sc or Mtech in Bioinformatics with knowledge in computational Biology
• Consolidated Pay : Rs 12000
• Duration : Initial appointment is for one year and subjected to renewal up to 3 years

Dr. Pongubala’s laboratory is investigating the molecular pathways that control the development of innate and adaptive immune cell types utilizing a combination of genetic, molecular and computational approaches. Responsibility of the research specialist is to take care of daily needs of the laboratory where as the project-JRF candidate is expected to study the functional role of recently identified novel miRNAs during B cell fate commitment.
